Hi,

I’m Jo Cove, a 500-hour accredited scaravelli-inspired yoga teacher and have been teaching since 2018.  Scaravelli-inspired yoga is a gentle yet powerful form of Hatha yoga that uses gravity and breath to release the spine and energise the body.

My own yoga practice began in 2010, when I quickly felt the benefits of improved physical strength and flexibility, and more importantly a sense of inner peace and mental calm. My love of yoga extends off the mat and I seek to bring this into class, as I'm reminded that in many ways yoga is a way of life, a way of seeing things differently, helping to develop a deeper connection with people, nature and the universe.

 

My classes are imbued with a peaceful energy and provide a safe space to explore and enjoy the postures and notice how the body, breath and energy responds. Expect gentle Vinyasa flows and a variety of seated and standing postures all with the emphasis on noticing how the body feels inside, with a relaxation to finish so you leave class feeling refreshed and relaxed!
